Producers Donna Gigliotti and Glenn Weiss today announced 11 key members of the production team for the 91st Oscars, which will air live on Sunday, February 24, on ABC. It was previously announced that Weiss would be returning as director for his fourth consecutive year, while sharing producing duties with Gigliotti for the first time.
In the week leading up to the 91st Oscars®, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present a series of public programs celebrating this year’s nominees in the Animated Feature Film, Documentary Feature, Documentary Short Subject, Foreign Language Film, Makeup and Hairstyling, and Animated and Live Action Short Film categories. Events will be held at the Academy’s Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, led by its Future of Film Committee, will present “Oscars®Spotlight: Documentaries” a new program showcasing the 15 shortlisted documentary feature films in contention for the 91st Oscars. The films will screen theatrically in 13 cities nationwide starting December 31, 2018 through January 21, 2019. Participating theaters include AMC Theatres, Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and Laemmle Theatres.
